Here are some pictures like the ones, that Annette looks on everyday in her microscope. As a biologist she is busy with all kinds of organisms. Although these perish in the process, they still look almost as good afterwards.
The first photos are shots of mesangial cells. Their structures are marked by florescent antibodies. Colored are parts of various plants, among these are the blossom of a pine, the stalk of a sunflower and the bud of a beech.

Hier sind einige Bilder zu sehen, wie sie Annette jeden Tag im Mikroskop sieht. Als Biologin beschäftigt sie sich mit allerlei Lebensformen, die zwar dabei kaputt gehen, aber wenigstens auch danach noch fast genauso hübsch anzusehen sind.
Die ersten Fotos sind Aufnahmen von Mesangiumzellen, deren Strukturen mit fluoreszierenden Antikörpern markiert sind. Bunt angefärbt sind Pflanzenteile dargestellt, darunter eine Kiefernblüte, ein Sonnenblumenstengel und eine Buchenknospe.
